Slip  buddy® gently over your bandage or cast and pull  up gently  over your cast or bandage. It’s very flexible.

Pull the corners down  to create a smooth seal below your joint. If you are showering  you are ready!

When you place your limb into water,  buddy® will cling to your cast or bandage and the air will rise. Release the air by gently pulling open the seal before completely submerging.

You can be confident to trust your buddy not to let water in.

Pat dry after use and before removing.

*For best results, wear a sock or tubular bandage if you are using your buddy over a plaster cast. See FAQs.

*Be careful not to puncture your buddy with jewellery and sharp objects. Don’t use scissors or knives to alter your buddy.

*As always, take care on slippery or wet surfaces and ensure the seal of your buddy is wrinkle free.  Allow to dry naturally, or use a soft towel.  Do not place on a radiator

*Please remember that buddy is not a toy and babies/children must be supervised at all times.

*Careful measurement will ensure your buddy has a watertight and comfortable fit, please see our ABOUT QOL PAGE for more information  

*  For a best buddy fit the seal should fit snugly round the fleshy part of your limb ie  mid-calf, thigh, forearm
